"Hi, I’m Kelly, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Eating Disorder Therapist based in New York. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing eating disorders, body image concerns, and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I am committed to supporting clients as they navigate the complexities of disordered eating, trauma, and emotional distress to foster meaningful and lasting change.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I incorporate evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma-informed care. In our work together, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to examine unhelpful thought patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Siena College and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Iona University (formerly Iona College). With a strong foundation in clinical training and years of practical experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals move beyond food rules and societal expectations to build a life grounded in self-trust, resilience, and well-being.
If you’re ready to begin the process of healing, I welcome the opportunity to support you in taking that first step."
